Moving for Camp PARC
The 10th annual Laps of Light benefit walk was held on Sunday, October 8. Despite the less than desirable weather, over 200 walkers from 13 teams came together to let their light shine for Camp PARC.
Dressed in their finest country duds, runners and walkers came with a common goal to walk for those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, while also raising funds for Camp PARC. Through these efforts, the event grossed $9,460 to benefit Camp PARC and its programs.
The event included 5K Country Fun Run, Corn Hole Tournament, food by Conemaugh Township Class & Taste Marching Band Boosters, Outhouse Races, and Country Fair Food Eating contests. The event's Master of Ceremonies was Mike Sotosky.
Thank you to all who edured the weather, came out to support Camp PARC, and put smiles on the faces of our campers, staff, and volunteers!
